Check out Nathaniel Archer, one of our brilliant Uncommon Junior Chefs, and I spend time with the Shelly Miles, host of the San Antonio Living Talk Show on April 18, 2024. Nathaniel and I discussed the Uncommon Junior Chef Program, the Uncommon Chef Competition for Sustainability, and an Italian-inspired fettuccine pasta dish with fresh spinanch-basil green sauce, season ricotta cheese, and blanched veggies! So yummy!

What a great time learning about Japan and its history, culture, geography, dress, traditions, language, and, of course, food. Our Uncommon Junior Chefs demonstrated to their families yesterday their Japanese cooking techniques as part of our “Uncommon Family Engagement Cooking Lesson Series” at the Texas Education Agency St. Mary's Academy Charter School ACE Program. 65 people were excited for the voyage and loved the Japanese pork tenderloin ramen bowls with in-house made broth and an assortment of toppings. Big thanks to Mr Simonson, Ms Brown, Mr Boatman, and all the parents who joined us!
Thanks Ms Pulido for a few of the pics.
